Instructions to the Students
- All students were also notified via SMS about the downloading of their updated Admit Cards on 22/04/2022. [New ]
- AIOU Announces B.Ed Examinations 2022 Start Date Dear students, The B.Ed Program Exams are beginning on 26 April 2022. Roll Numbers for some students can be found on CMS. You will need to wait two days before uploading your Roll No Slip.
- AIOU FA Examinations Autumn-21 Commencement The FA (Intermediate), examination of AIOU will begin on 1 March 2022. Roll No Slips are now available/uploaded on the student portal of CMS under link Exam & Grades-My Exam Schedule. Students will use their student IDs/Registration Nos instead of the roll number on answer scripts. Only the student IDs/Reg Number will be used to issue the Result.
- Matric and FA Exams Announced The exams for Phase-1 AIOU Matric, and FA will be held in designated locations throughout Pakistan. The datesheet is available to students of AIOU. It was announced today.
- The Pass Rate of All Candidates in the AIOU Exams 2021 . In Autumn 20 Semester, the total pass rate for Phase-2 exams of BA and AD, BS, BS (ODL), and B.Ed was 80%. However, it is 76% for AIOU Exams 21. The majority of Re-Appear students are in one or two subjects that they failed to pass during the April 2022 exam for the Autumn 2021 exam. Advertisement
- Face-to-Face exams (BS/MSc/MS/Phil/PhD for Autumn): The exams will start at Main Campus on 6th January 2022. The University website has the Date Sheet. Students CMS Portal also allows them to upload their admit cards (Roll # slips).
- AIOU Exams for PhD, MS. MPhil. MSc, and BS programs Autumn– The exams for BS, MS and MS programs Autumns 2021 will begin on 6 January 2022. Exam venue: main campus ,AIOU, H8, Islamabad . The Allama Iqbal Open University semester Spring exams, which were scheduled to take place in Islamabad Region and Rawalpindi cities areas, have been postponed. Below is the revised schedule for postponed exams.
All tehsils will be subject to the exam, i.e. Murree, Kotli Sattian, Kahuta, Kallar Sydan, Gujar Khan, Wah Cantt/Taxila etc. District as per the existing i.e. 20-12-21.
Roll No Slips already issued will still be valid for the revised schedule, Exam venue, and timing. Students who are concerned will be notified via SMS. The exam schedule for other areas of the country will not change.
The ongoing exams of M.Com and M.Sc (Col), MBA/MPA, MLIS, M.ED, M.ED(ODL) were to be held on 18.12.2022 but have been postponed to KPK province. Roll # Slips already issued will still be valid for the revised Schedule, Exam venue, and timing.
Students who are concerned will be notified via SMS. Other parts of the country’s Ongoing Exams schedule will not change. Here is the revised schedule for postponed exams. The Autumn 2021 face-to-face Exam will begin at 6th Jan 2022 (tentatively), at Islamabad’s main campus.
Post Graduate Examination Phase-3 Exams: The 16th Dec 2021 will start and continue until 17th Jan 2022 at designated examination centres.

Revised HTMLPhil,PhD final examination Spring 2022. A revised notification regarding the revised schedule for M.Phil, and P.HD final exams in 2021 has been issued by AIOU on the 6th of July 2022. For the benefit of all, it is notified that the schedule for final exams of M.Phil and PhD education programs for semester 2022 is the following.
AIOU Exam Results Cancelation News Today
Aut20 Online Exam: Due technical reasons and to train a few students left, the Exam of Bed overseas students will now start on 19 June 2022.
STE 20: Students are asked to immediately contact their regional offices if they have any questions or concerns regarding conducting online exams in difficult areas of Baluchistan and AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (as determined by Dir of Reg Ser & further explanations of previously issued instructions).
Bed overseas exams will be held online starting on June 21st. The mode has been explained to students via email and in a session on MS Teams. They were introduced to the new format. For more information, stay connected to the AIOU website.
STE: The online exams for MEd and all other Postgraduate programs MA/MSc in ODL mode on Aaghi LMS portal will be available.
The final exam for the Autumn 2020 French Online Course will be held online via AAGHI LMS Portal from 13 June 2021.1200 hrs – 1400 hrs. Contact French deptt for details.
